Are You Ready

Many people misunderstand the Gospel message.  Some believe that to get saved means that you have to stop sinning first, then come to Christ.  This is not true.  Actually, the first thing that God is looking for is someone that believes that He is God the Creator and Sustainer of all life.

Romans 10:9 says, “For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Acts 3:19 says, “Now turn from your sins and turn to God, so you can be cleansed of your sins.”

I John 1:9 says, “But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.”

Friend, let me tell you a true story that will change your life forever.  Did you notice that in these few scripture verses, it is God who promises to change you and save you.  You cannot make it happen!  This is what we refer to as ‘The Grace of God’.

Grace is the free gift that God gives to those who dare to believe what He has revealed in the Bible.  The grace of God is the unearned favor and power of God that causes the blessings of God to come upon a persons life.  It is the “too good to be true news!”

But you must ask Him for it.  It is not automatic.

God loves you and wants to have a relationship with you.  God IS LOVE and you are the object of His love!  Love must express itself and be given away to actually be love.  God wants to give to you, His love.  Will you recieve that love today?  Will you ask Him to forgive you for ignoring and denying Him and let Him have His rightful place as Lord in your life?

Pray this prayer:  Father God, I admit that I have sinned against You and need Your mercy.  Thank-you for sending Jesus to die on the cross to take the punishment for the sins I’ve committed.  I ask you to come into my life and lead me from now on.  I recieve the gift of Your Grace and reject and renounce the works and the ways of the devil.   Fill me with Your Spirit now so I can live for You!  Thank-you for the Blood of Jesus that washes away my sin.  Thank-you for giving me your righteousness and a new beginning.

If you have prayed this prayer, please let us know and send us a note telling us the good news so we can pray for you.
